These questions have occupied me for years. Especially the question of meaning. What kind of world are we leaving for our children, and what kind of example are we setting for them?
Hello, I'm Sabine Gries, founder of AUBÀ.
My path to AUBÀ wasn't straightforward, but rather shaped by my own personal experiences. Life forced me to pause and radically question everything. But this challenge became my greatest gift.
A shift in consciousness grew within me, along with a heartfelt desire to give something back to life.

GLOBALLY UNIQUE PROJECT
It's been another incredibly exciting week. So much is happening at the construction site.
​
SOMNI is nearing completion, and my team and I are working on the final details.
​
This is my umpteenth building project, by the way, but SOMNI is unique. We researched worldwide but found nothing comparable.
​
The idea stemmed from my own journey — my desire to live in a harmonious, natural, and healthy home. I've already created this for myself and my family. Now I want to make such a wonderful living space possible for others as well.
​
Yesterday, the plants were planted. We chose vibrant succulents and cacti. Both are meaningful, symbolic plants and a crucial part of the energetic concept.

Yes, you heard right, SOMNI has an energetic concept. Many things about this house are surprisingly different.

THE GREATEST CREATOR
I'm passionate about collecting things, especially natural finds.
Yesterday I found this little snail. At first glance, it looks like an ordinary snail, but look how perfect it is. How perfectly even its curves are and how symmetrical its markings are.
​
For me, it's art. Nature is the greatest artist and creator. I feel so deeply connected to it, and it's my greatest inspiration.
My homes are dominated by as many natural elements as possible: fine woods, stone, and natural fabrics. This gives the house a very special energy. Because every piece of nature tells its own story.

LIVEABLE AND RELAXED
I am firmly convinced that your daily environment shapes you. Just like your rituals, the air you breathe, the water you drink, and the surroundings that surround your body. And, of course, the people you let into your life.
​
Here in Mallorca, my family and I live in an energetic cocoon on our AUBÀ Finca. Here, we have created a unique environment.
​
Our AUBÀ Finca is located near Artà, in my opinion one of the most beautiful regions of Mallorca. Those who live here have consciously chosen to do so, just like us. All my building projects are also located in this region, and for good reason.
