ARTÀ

LIVEABLE AND RELAXED

I am firmly convinced that your daily environment shapes you. Just like your rituals, the air you breathe, the water you drink, and the surroundings that surround your body. And, of course, the people you let into your life.

Here in Mallorca, my family and I live in an energetic cocoon on our AUBÀ Finca. Here, we have created a unique environment.

Our AUBÀ Finca is located near Artà, in my opinion one of the most beautiful regions of Mallorca. Those who live here have consciously chosen to do so, just like us. All my building projects are also located in this region, and for good reason.

WHAT MAKES ARTÀ SPECIAL?

What makes the region around Artà so special?

Let's start with what's unavoidable in Mallorca: tourism. Here, you're spared the typical mass tourism. Those who venture here are looking for authenticity and are discerning. Here, you experience a slower pace of life amidst breathtaking nature.

During our bike tours, we constantly discover new impressions that you want to capture forever. Even though I've lived here for so long, I'm still captivated by the beauty of nature every single day.

GREENER AND WILDER

Compared to other regions of Mallorca, it's noticeable that it's greener here. The mountain slopes of the Servers de Levante are just as lush as the wild landscape. And the natural beaches, where we often take long walks, are simply unique.

Artà has the longest stretch of coastline in eastern Mallorca, yet there are hardly any hotels right on the beach. Great care has been taken to protect these stretches of coastline and preserve their natural character.

TRADITIONELL & CULTURALLY

The town itself is dominated by the Santuari de Sant Salvador pilgrimage church. From the castle-like complex, there's a magnificent view of Artà and the surrounding countryside.

It's also characterized by a long pedestrian zone with its traditional shops, galleries, and restaurants, all of which contribute to the unique Artà vibe. From there, I love to stroll through the narrow streets lined with typical stone houses to one of my favorite restaurants, Jardi d’Artà.

One shouldn't miss the many traditional festivals celebrated in Artà. A strong sense of cultural and social life still prevails here.

"SLOW CITY" AWARD

There's simply an atmosphere here that you won't find in other places. This is precisely why Artà has been awarded the title of "Slow City." The title is given by the Cittaslow association, which also founded the Slow Food movement. And Artà was the first municipality in Mallorca to receive this distinction.

For me, Artà embodies everything that defines a Blue Zone. The people, their culture, the unique nature, and especially the unspoiled nature are incredibly inspiring.
